Marian University Sabres Women’s Field Hockey Team to Host CFHC Tournament in Fond du Lac
The Marian University Sabres Women’s Field Hockey Team is set to host the Collegiate Field Hockey Conference (CFHC) Tournament in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, marking a major milestone for the program and the university’s athletic department. The event brings together top collegiate teams from across the country including states like Kentucky, Tennessee and Wisconsin , offering local fans a chance to witness high-level field hockey action at Marian’s Smith Field beginning on Thursday at 11am CT.
The Sabres enter the tournament with a strong record of 10-5 overall and 3-2 in CFHC play, securing the No. 3 seed after a decisive 4-0 victory over Concordia Wisconsin to close out the regular season. Led by four seniors who have been on the team since the program started four years ago, the team has demonstrated resilience and growth throughout the season.
