Milwaukee man crashes semi while driving almost four times legal intoxicated limit

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested in Washington County Wednesday for Operating While Intoxicated after crashing the fully loaded semi he was driving on I-41.

Shortly after 3 PM, an off-duty law enforcement officer observed the driver of the semi weaving across the lanes of traffic and onto the shoulder near Highway 60.
The driver then pulled onto the right shoulder of the interstate and proceeded down a grassy decline where the semi tipped over. Emergency crews on scene needed to breakout the windshield to get the driver out.

A preliminary breath test revealed an alcohol level of .297, nearly four times the legal limit.
