Missing backpack found after suspects apprehended

An update to a story we brought you Wednesday when police were assisting Winnebago County in searching for a vehicle that fled a traffic stop in their county.

After an intense search for the vehicle in Fond du Lac County, two people were located on Lincoln Road near where the vehicle in question was left abandoned. Those two people say another female took off a different direction and police set up a perimeter, eventually finding her, but without a pink backpack and gun she was said to have.

Officials now say that pink backpack has been found by a property owner near where the incident took place with ammunition, extended handgun magazines, and drug paraphernalia.

No gun has been located yet.
