Motorcycle crashes injure drivers in area
Two crashes involving motorcycles occurred this weekend.
Fond du Lac Police as well as City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue responded to a crash on East Johnson Street Sunday, August 16, 2026.
At about 5:20 p.m., calls came in reporting that a motorcyclist ran into a car on Johnson Street at National Avenue.
Units responding found an approximate 50-year-old man with road rash being the only person injured in the crash.
National Avenue and Johnson Street traffic was affected for approximately 40 minutes while crews worked the scene.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a motorcycle crash that injured a person.
At about 12:15 p.m., Saturday, Dodge County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a motorcycle injury crash on County Highway G near County Highway I, about a mile north of Lowell.
Initial investigation shows a 1997 Suzuki sport bike driven by a 20-year-old Juneau man, was northbound on County Highway G, when it ran off the road to the right, rolled, and came to rest in a field. The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported by Flight for Life to Summit Hospital in Oconomowoc.
Assisting at the scene were members of Clyman, Lowell, Reeseville Fire departments and First Responders, Beaver Dam Paramedics, and Flight for Life.
