Multiple Fond du Lac County fire departments respond to fully engulfed shed fire in Eden

At about 10:15 AM, numerous calls came into the Fond du Lac County Communication Center about a shed fire at 104 Sheridan Street.

Upon arrival, crews found two detached garages fully engulfed in flames with a nearby car on fire, as well as flames starting to spread to a nearby house.

Because of the size of the fire and extension to another building, a MABAS call was placed to bring in mutual aid from surrounding departments. In total 12 departments sent units to assist including Brownsville and Lomira from Dodge County and Kewaskum from Washington County.

As a result of the fire, the two garages, nearby shed and vehicle are considered total losses. The house sustained external damage from fire but fire crews managed to stop the spread to the interior.

No cause of the fire has been determined.
