New option for electric bikes and golf carts coming to Fond du Lac

Fond du Lac will soon have a new alternative when it comes to buying electric bikes and golf carts.

The Wisconsin based business, Small Town EV, is finishing up refurbishing a building that’s stood empty for years on the city’s far west side to be their new store location.

Small Town EV lives up to it’s name being headquartered near Waldo in Sheboygan County. The Fond du Lac location will be the companies second location after forming six years ago.

The electric bike and golf cart makers will hold a grand opening at their new location May 5th at N6296 south Rolling Meadows Drive. One of the companies owners Kevin Boon recently talked with KFIZ about the companies bikes and the grand opening of the store saying Monday May 5ths grand opening hours will be 10-7 and will have free tacos over the lunch hour to not only celebrate the opening but also Cinco de Mayo.

Bikes offered from the company feature a cruiser style, fat tire and a foldable bike.

Boon went on to say their golf carts are not only good for the golf course but are also street legal once registered with the DMV and come in a variety of models and colors.
