Nice weekend weather brings out motorcycle traffic as well as motorcycle crashes

The nice weather over the weekend brought out motorcycle riders which in turn increased motorcycle crashes. A woman was med-flighted to a local trauma center yesterday evening after the motorcycle she was on crashed near the Highway 41 and Highway 10 exit in Winnebago County. First responders found the woman with a head injury and not breathing so CPR was performed until she was stable enough to be transported.

In Waupaca County One person was injured after striking a deer while on a motorcycle on Silver Creek Road near Highway 45 west of Bear Creek Sunday morning. That person was also med-flighted to an area hospital.

Also Sunday morning, A 37-year-old Beaver Dam man suffered life threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash in Dodge County. In that crash, a responding police officer and Beaver Dam Paramedics performed CPR on the man for 8 minutes to resuscitate them. A med flight helicopter was also used to transport in that crash.
