Nine years in prison given for Fond du Lac County man in drug death

Another person in Fond du Lac County has been sentenced to years in prison after being responsible for the overdose death of the person they were responsible for getting drugs for.
Yesterday Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney announced that Jeremy Stoll was sentenced to nine years of initial prison confinement and 15 years of extended supervision. The sentence stems from Stoll’s conviction for First Degree Reckless Homicide – Party to a Crime, from the June 11, 2022, overdose death of a man in the Town of Lamartine.
In that case, the victim had 45 nanograms per milliliter of fentanyl in his blood, along with numerous other drugs. Deaths have been known to occur in people with as little as one nanograms per milliliter.
According to the criminal complaint, authorities discovered several online messages on the social media site Facebook on the victim’s phone between the victim and Stoll referencing drug sales and use shortly before the victim was found deceased.
