No new sightings in Dodge County Amber Alert – Family “waits and prays”

It’s now been a full week since the Amber Alert for a Beaver Dam teen came out and police have no new sitings of the teen or the man she is apparently with.
The family of missing 16-year-old Sophia Franklin released a new statement last night saying they don’t know what to do other than wait and pray. They said There’s so much on the horizon for her, and they just need her to come back.

40-year-old Gary Day is the suspect in Franklin’s disappearance. Franklin is said to be pregnant with Days baby and the two have a history of being together in the past. Franklin was staying with Day from August through December in Arkansas when her family thought she was staying with a friend. She was found to be at the residence after a probation check on Day revealed her at his house. At that time she was returned to Beaver Dam and a no contact was placed on the two. However they continued talking with each other and last Monday, Day was seen on security footage at Franklin’s house and she was seen getting into a car with him.

The Amber Alert has since added Arkansas as a location where the two may be.
