Northeast Wisconsin duo wins 48th annual Mercury Walleye Fishing Tournament

The 2026 Mercury Walleye Fishing Tournament is in the books and the winners are Jacob and Zach Nemeth from Suamico and Sobeski Wisconsin.

The pair finished each day with the five walleye limit and a total weight of 28 lbs., 14 oz.

The two finished first in the two day event out of 300 teams, beating the number two team by just over a half pound.

For winning first place, the duo wins over $50,000 in cash and prizes, including a new boat and Mercury motor.

Rounding out the top three teams were second place Brad Vetter of Campbellsport with Jon Boedeker of Allenton finishing with 28 lbs., 5 oz, and Scott and Nick Venne of Fond du Lac, who finished at 25 lbs., 7 oz.

This was the 48th annual Mercury Walleye Fishing Tournament held in Fond du Lac.
