Aaron O. Kiczula

Aaron O. Kiczula, 42, of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2024. Born on January 22, 1982 in Fond du Lac, he was the cherished son of John and Ellie (Knutson) Kiczula.

Aaron was a kind, gentle, and intelligent soul whose warmth and generosity touched everyone he met. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people from all walks of life, forming countless friendships through his kind heart, listening ear, and easygoing demeanor.

From a young age, Aaron developed a strong work ethic, mastering every aspect of the restaurant industry; from washing dishes to managing operations. His intelligence shone in many areas, including his passion for language and culture. Aaron taught himself German and dedicated years to researching and immersing himself in places he visited. During a two-year stay in Ireland, he built lasting bonds with locals, many of whom he came to consider family.

Aaron’s love for his Norwegian heritage was reflected in his rescue of a dog he named Bragi, who quickly became his loyal companion and best friend.

Aaron’s light and presence were taken too soon, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, John and Ellie Kiczula, brother Peter (Miranda) Kiczula, and his beloved nephew Owen Kiczula. He is also survived by supportive neighbors, extended family, and countless friends who held him dear.

Aaron was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Chuck and Marilyn (Loehr) Knutson-Colward and paternal grandparents, Richard and Patricia (Sullivan) Kiczula.

A celebration of Aaron’s life will take place later in the Summer of 2025 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, W9371 Olden Rd, Eldorado, WI. Details will be shared closer to the date as loved ones gather to honor his life and legacy.

Aaron was a beautiful person who left the world far too soon, but his love and kindness will live on in those whose lives he touched.
