Abraham Joseph Flood

Abraham Joseph Flood, age 21, passed away unexpectedly while asleep on May 6, 2023.

Born July 12, 2001, Abe was the loving son of Patrick and Samantha (Sadoff) Flood. He is survived by his brother Max and sister Alex; nana Mary (Wimberger) Sadoff; uncle Erik and aunt Karen Flood of New York; uncle Aaron and aunt Kelly Sadoff of North Fond du Lac; uncle David and aunt Liza Sadoff of Milwaukee; and uncle Patrick “No No” Dixon of California. Abe is also survived by his cousins Molly and Tanner Flood; Paige, Lilly and Ethan Sadoff; and Rowan, Augie, Henry, and Eleanor Sadoff; numerous great aunts, great uncles and second cousins; and his loving girlfriend of five years, Breanna Schmoldt of Fond du Lac.

Abe has now joined his papa Jon and grandma Ellen (Black) Flood; and pops, Richard “Dick” Sadoff, in heaven.

Abe, a 2020 graduate of Fond du Lac High School, was a caring, thoughtful, young man who loved his family, great conversation, and being able to share his great sense of humor with those ready to think, have fun, and be challenged. He will always be remembered for his “out of the box” thinking, generous heart, and willingness to help anyone at any time. His smile made people notice his presence and helped make the world a better place.

The family would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of support, love and friendship. Abe has inspired us to live our best lives and cherish each and every day.

Abe, we have been blessed to have you in our lives for 21 short years.  You will always be in our hearts and minds. We love you…

Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, from 10 am to 1 pm at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street. A celebration of Abe’s life will immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Abraham J. Flood Legacy Fund at the Fond du Lac Area Foundation, 1020 S. Main Street, Suite E, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin 54935.
