David Isaac
David Isaac, 82, passed away peacefully at home on October 7, 2023, in Eldorado, Wisconsin. He was born October 12, 1940 in Fond du Lac to the late Francis and Mary (Preston) Isaac. He graduated from Rosendale High School.
David was united in marriage to Judith Michels on October 21, 1961, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. She passed away in 2018.
David was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Mission Church in Eldorado where he was a trustee. When St. Mary’s closed, David and his wife, Judy, joined St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon where they were welcomed with open arms.
David owned and operated the family dairy farm. He enjoyed mowing lawn and keeping the financial records up until the point of his passing. More than anything, David adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
David was a long-time member of the Eldorado Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed working at the community picnic, where he and Judy later served as parade marshals. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
David leaves behind his two sons, Dan and Mark, both of Eldorado; and three grandchildren, Jacob, Callie and Mattie. He is further survived by his brother-in-law, Ron (Eugenia) Michels of Ripon, as well as his faithful canine companion, Louis.
In addition to his wife and parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Steve, and his parents-in-law, Al and Dorothy (Steffen) Michels.
VISITATION: David’s family will greet relatives and friends Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again, Monday, October 16, 2023 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E. Blossom St., Ripon, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.

David will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Judy, in St. Mary’s Mission Cemetery in Eldorado.
