Dolores Elizabeth Kasper

Dolores Elizabeth Kasper, age 96 of Chilton, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Libby House while surrounded by her family.  

She was born the daughter of Otto and Marie (Hoffman) Gebhart.  Dolores met her husband, Eloy Kasper, at one of the dances that were held regularly and were married on May 2, 1950.  

While Eloy worked at the Chilton Malting Company, Dolores worked countless hours and  managed the family farm for 30 years.  Upon retirement, they traveled across the U.S on tour busses and also traveled to Europe.  

Dolores was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.  At home Dolores enjoyed drawing, going to casinos, playing cards with friends, listening to polka and watching EWTN.  Most of all, she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.  

Dolores is survived by her husband, Eloy; sons, Gary Kasper and Joe (Jean) Kasper; granddaughter, Jessica (Paul) Logan; grandsons, Joshua Kasper, Justin (Roberta) Kasper, Jordan (Kaitlyn) Kasper; her great-grandchildren:  Alex, Whitney, and  Zachary Logan; Adalynn, James, and Greta Kasper.  

She was preceeded in death by her infant daughter, Karen, her parents, two sister, Maryann (George) Cullen and Rita (Edward) Schmitz, two brothers Carl (Margaret) and Donny (Ellen) Gebhart.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with Rev. Jon Thorson officiating.  Entombment will be in the Knollwood Mausoleum.  Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021 and on Friday at the church from 11:00 am until 11:45 am.  There will be a Parish Vigil Thursday evening at the funeral home at the close of the visitation.  

The family would to extend thanks to the Libby House and Hospice staff who gave great care to Dolores at the end.
