Jane L. Norton

Jane L. Norton, age 80, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, March 24, 2023, at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on December 19, 1942, in Sheboygan, the daughter of Ervin and Lucille (Haag) Eisold. Jane married Gene E. Norton Sr. in Fond du Lac. Jane worked at Mercury for 31 years. She enjoyed quilting, arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting, planting flowers, and bowling. Jane loved hummingbirds and taking trips to the casino. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, WWE fan, and Elvis Presley fan. Jane was known for making the best scalloped/creamed corn. She was a very giving person and never asked for anything. Jane was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include four children, Pam (Rick) Hernandez, Gene (fiancé Mary Kirchner) Norton Jr, Dwayne (Tammy) Norton, Jodi (Dave) Kelley; fifteen grandchildren, Angela Reyes, Erik Hernandez, Cory Norton, Collin Norton, Casey Norton, Sara Casper, Ashley Stanton, Isaac Norton, Matthew Norton, Jordan Norton, Rosa Norton, Rhilee Norton, Rhianna Norton, Ceilya Mihecoby, Nathan Paez; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Abby, Cain, Seth, Alexa, Aiden, Jordyn, Wyatt, Trinity, Cas, Odin, Bailey, Portor, Bryson, Maverick, Blakely, Nash, Jenson, Brexson, Nevaeh, Alynah, Kalyb, Aiden, Lexi, Katie, Angel; her siblings, Gerry, Jackie, Dennis, Karen, Richard; her dog, Baby; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene E. Norton Sr, on July 3, 2005; two sisters, Carol and Donna; one brother, Chuck.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 3:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at Rienzi Cemetery at a later date.
