Linda Diane Krumbein

Linda Diane Krumbein, 74, of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Linda was born on January 1, 1952, to William D. and Gayle L. Haensgen. She spent much of her life between Tomahawk and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, making memories and building a life centered around the people she loved most.
Linda worked as a CNA for several years in the Fond du Lac and Tomahawk areas before beginning a 23-year career with Walmart. She retired in 2015.
On June 22, 2006, Linda married Robert Krumbein, sharing many years together.
Linda’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, who truly were her whole world. She loved spending time with them, making memories, and being there for every generation of her family. She was also known for her love of cardinals, decorating for Christmas, and, of course, never starting the day without her morning coffee. Linda proudly considered herself a princess—and her family would probably agree that she deserved the title.
Linda was the person you could always call. Whether you needed someone to listen, some great advice, or simply someone to make you laugh, she was always there. Her love, laughter, and presence brought comfort and joy to the people around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Linda is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Bill (Joanna) Dupee, Rachel (Julian) Dupee, Diana (Dan) Ahlborn, and Jessica (Bryan) Bruss; her 17 grandchildren, Kyle, James, Ben, Hannah, Darryl, Jillian, Lillian, Vivianna, Julianna, Julian Jr., Allianna, Danelle, Noah, Elijah, Brookelynn, Christian, and Josiah; and her great-grandson, Henry. She is also survived by her sister, Debra (John) Diener; her niece and nephew; other relatives; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Darryl G. Dupee, and her parents, William D. and Gayle L. Haensgen.
Linda’s family takes comfort in knowing that the love she gave so freely will continue through the many lives she touched. Her grandchildren will carry her love with them every day. With every cup of morning coffee, cardinal, and Christmas decoration, it will bring her loved ones memories of their Mom, Grandma, and friend.
Visitation will be held at Zacherl Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Following visitation, Linda will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery near her parents.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish her love, laughter, kindness, and the beautiful memories they shared with her.
