Michael D. Schmidt

Michael D. Schmidt, age 62, passed away on December 15, 2025 at the CWC Center Madison. He was born February 17, 1963 to Mary Kuen Waite and David E. Schmidt in Fond du Lac.

Michael is survived by his parents Mary (Gary) Waite and David E. Schmidt, sisters Susan (Jamie) Rebedew and Dawn (Dan) Cleland, brothers Peter W. (Angela) Schmidt, Brian D. (Melissa) Schmidt, Jason D. (Tanya) Schmidt and Troy W. (Brittney) Schmidt. He is further survived by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Vernon and Margaret Kuen and paternal grandparents Everett and Claudine Schmidt.

Private family services are scheduled. Michael will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
