Thomas Duane Dunaway

Thomas Duane Dunaway, 70, a resident of Fond du Lac, passed away Tuesday February 4th, 2025, at his son’s home, where he was being cared for. He was born May 19,1954 in Chicago Illinois. The son of late Thomas Troy Dunaway and Evelyn (Fitzhugh) Dunaway whom he proceeded in death as well as his ex-wife, Ellen Dunaway, sister Deborah Dunaway, little brother Paul Dunaway, and son Robert “Bobby” Dunaway.

Tom was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and served in the DMZ zone in the mid 70’s. After moving to Wisconsin be closer to his children and grandchildren, he retired from Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac after 10 years.

Tom is survived by his siblings: Michael Heath, Rendell “Bubba” Heath, and Shelia Dunaway. He is also survived by his children: Joesph Moench, Daniel Dunaway, and Terri Alexander. He is also survived by his grandchildren Korbin, Rori, Noah, Conner, and Dexter. Along with many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Our family would like to extend our gratitude to the VA and Heartland Hospice, for the extraordinary care and compassion shown to our Dad.

Cremation has taken place, and the family and friends will have a celebration of life later in the year.
