One dead in Dodge County crash

A 71-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash Monday evening, October 12, 2026 in Dodge County.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to County Highway P near North Columbus Street in Randolph around 7:29 Monday night.

Investigators say a 2004 International dump truck was traveling west when its raised dump body struck an overhead wire, causing the truck to overturn and trapping the driver inside.

The man, who was from rural Randolph, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
