One dead in fatal Calumet County crash

A fatal two-vehicle crash is under investigation in Calumet County.

The Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened shortly after 7:30 Thursday morning, September 3, 2026, at the intersection of County Highway K and County Highway PP in the Town of Brillion.

Investigators say a vehicle traveling west on Highway K struck a pickup truck traveling south on Highway PP. Westbound traffic on Highway K is controlled by a stop sign at the intersection.

The driver of the pickup, a 33-year-old Green Bay man, was taken to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.

The driver of the car, a 32-year-old Manitowoc man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The names of the two drivers are being withheld while family members are notified.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Brillion police, County Rescue, Brillion Fire and Brillion First Responders.
