One dead, six injured in Dodge County crash
Dodge County officials are investigating what led to a fatal crash north east of Beaver Dam Sunday, January 26, 2025.
At about 4:30 PM, deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road A at County Road B.
Initial investigation showed a 2024 Ford F150 pickup truck was traveling eastbound on County Road B and failed to stop at the stop sign at County Road A. The pickup was struck by a 2006 Cadillac Escalade traveling northbound on A. A passenger in the pickup, a 30-year-old man from Tennessee, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, a 32-year-old man from Tennessee, was transported the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam with serious life-threatening injuries, and then transported by medical helicopter to Aurora Summit Hospital. He has been placed under arrest for driving under the influence.
The driver of the Escalade, a 35-year-old man as well as A 38-year-old female passenger from Fox Lake were also flown to Aurora Summit Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. Three children in the Escalade were transported to area hospitals with minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
