Parking restrictions for Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The annual Fond du Lac’s St Patrick’s Day parade is Saturday at 3 p.m., and the Fond du Lac Police Department is reminding those heading downtown earlier in the day that there will be parking restrictions set in place.

The parade starts on Reese Street at Main Street, heading south on Main to 2nd Street.

NO PARKING will be in effect on Saturday, March 14, 2026, between 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. within the parade route.

The parade route will start to shut down to all traffic starting at 1 p.m. Please plan your travels accordingly. Additionally, traffic restrictions will be in place on south Macy Street and south Marr Street.

The Fond du Lac Police Department also is reminding parade participants and spectators that alcoholic beverages are not permitted among participants at any time, from the staging area, along the parade route, and/or in any vehicle or float.  Public consumption of alcoholic beverages is also prohibited at any time or under any circumstances along the parade route.

Winds should calm down before the parade starts and the snow mostly looks to hold off until after the parade ends. Temperatures will be in the mid 30s so dress accordingly.
