Part of Main Street to close in Downtown Fond du Lac

A portion of Main Street will be closed to traffic Wednesday, June 4, 2025, while a contractor works on some water utilities in the area. The stretch of roadway between Forest Avenue and Division Street will close at 7 AM and should reopen by this evening. This area of roadway was already under construction as part of the Main Street Rehabilitation project, but up to this point was able to be kept open.
It’s unknown if the closure will affect sidewalks or entrances to businesses in the area.
