Phoenix Nest Open House and Cash Raffle Drawing

Fond du Lac’s Gratitude Club is inviting the community to attend an Open House for Phoenix Nest, a new sober living residence for women in recovery, on Saturday, May 2 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.

The event offers community members the opportunity to learn more about Phoenix Nest, a transformative project designed to provide safe, supportive housing for women working to rebuild their lives in recovery. Guests will enjoy refreshments, light snacks, and a welcoming atmosphere, along with activities including horseshoes, a Derby Hat Contest, and prize giveaways.

The Open House also marks the final push for the organization’s “Run for the Roses” Cash Raffle, with the drawing taking place at 5:00 PM. Raffle prizes include $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000. Participants do not need to be present to win.

Phoenix Nest is a major initiative of the Gratitude Club, developed in response to the growing need for stable, recovery-focused housing for women in the Fond du Lac area. The organization has already raised approximately $741,000 toward its $1 million capital campaign goal, with plans to break ground in late spring 2026.
