As often happens in spring, baby ducklings fall down sewer grates while mama duck leads them from their nest to the nearest body of water. Read here on how and why this happens…

On Saturday, June 1, 2024, a City of Fond du Lac Police Officer was notified of baby ducklings trapped near the intersection of north Main and Scott Streets in Fond du Lac. The Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue was called to assist and 7 baby ducklings were saved and reunited with their mama.
