PHOTOS: Ribbon cutting at renewed Fond du Lac County Veterans Park

On Friday, May 22, 2026, Fond du Lac County officials were on hand at the ribbon cutting and official re-opening of Veterans Park on south Main Street in the City of Fond du Lac.

Dozens of members of the community, including veterans, donors, and local officials were in attendance to see a few short speeches from Terry Dietzel, Director of Land Information. County Executive Sam Kaufman and Director of Veterans Services, Dave Tellefsen.

The park will go right into doing what it was designed for when a Memorial Day ceremony will be held in the park following the Memorial Day Parade Monday morning.
