Portion of Martin Avenue to close for roadwork

Drivers in Fond du Lac are being warned about an upcoming road closure.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Martin Avenue will be closed between 14th and 15th Streets beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, August 31st, 2026.

The closure is expected to remain in place through Wednesday, September 9th, while crews complete critical infrastructure repairs and restoration work.

Motorists should use alternate routes. A signed detour will direct traffic from 14th Street to Park Avenue and from 18th Street to Park Avenue.

Residents living within the closure will continue to have access to their properties.
