Public asked to provide input for upcoming Pioneer Road work

Fond du Lac County along with the City of Fond du Lac will be joining with the Wisconsin DOT to host a public involvement meeting to discuss construction improvements to Pioneer Road between Woodbine Park Road and Park Avenue.

The meeting will take place Thursday December 12th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the Fond du Lac County Highway Department at 1820 south Hickory Street in Fond du Lac.

Proposed improvements include repaving, adding a multi use path, sewer work, upgrading the intersection at Main Street and the construction of a single lane roundabout at Park Avenue.
Construction is scheduled to start in 2027 with traffic control and detours planned during the project.
