Red Cross Blood Drive at Lambeau Field November 9th

As the need for blood remains constant, the American Red Cross is encouraging donors to make an appointment for the Red Cross Blood Drive at Lambeau Field Monday, November 9, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Johnsonville Tailgate Village. The Johnsonville Tailgate Village is located in the east parking lot outside the American Family Insurance Gate. Free parking for this event will be available in lot 4 off Lombardi Avenue.

Blood donations remain critical to meeting hospital demands and supporting patient care. All blood types are needed, so donors are urged to give now. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.

Individuals with types O, A negative and B negative blood are encouraged to make a Power Red donation at this blood drive. Power Red donors give a concentrated dose of red blood cells during a single donation, allowing them to maximize their impact. During this type of donation, red blood cells are separated from other blood components, and the plasma and platelets are safely and comfortably returned to the donor.

All presenting donors will receive a free giveaway item from the Packers and a pie, courtesy of Hy-Vee Ashwaubenon, while supplies last. They’ll also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to win a great prize from the Packers. Those who come to give blood, platelets or AB Elite plasma Oct. 19-Nov. 22, 2026, will get up to $20 in Gift Cards – that’s a $10 Amazon Gift Card** by email* PLUS 500 bonus points, redeemable for a $10 e-gift card through Blood Donor Rewards. Additional details can be found at RedCrossBlood.org/Maze.

“We’re inspired by the community members who continue to answer the call to give blood,” said Rebecca Rockhill, executive director of the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter of the Red Cross. “Because of their support, more patients can receive the lifesaving care they need, when they need it most.”

With the season of giving around the corner, blood donors at this drive will also have the chance to sign holiday cards on-site. These cards will be gathered and sent to veterans, military families, and active-duty service members at hospitals and bases worldwide through the Red Cross Holidays for Heroes program. These personalized messages offer a comforting “touch of home” to our troops during the holidays, providing warmth and connection while they are away from their loved ones.

How to donate blood

Simply download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit RedCrossBlood.org, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or enable the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.

Blood and platelet donors can save time at their next donation by using RapidPass® to complete their pre-donation reading and health history questionnaire online, on the day of their donation, before arriving at the blood drive. To get started, follow the instructions at RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass or use the Blood Donor App.
