Rep. Born Receives WCA Outstanding Legislator Award

State Representative Mark Born (R-Beaver Dam) has been honored by the Wisconsin Counties Association (WCA) with a “WCA Outstanding Legislator Award” for his work on behalf of county government during the 2025-2026 Legislative Session.
“As the Co-Chair of the Joint Committee on Finance, Representative Born has consistently championed efforts that strengthen the quality of life for residents in the 37th Assembly District and benefit counties throughout Wisconsin,” said WCA President & CEO Mark D. O’Connell.

“His dependable leadership and ongoing dedication to policies that address today’s challenges, while also laying the groundwork for long‑term growth and opportunity, are truly appreciated.” The “WCA Outstanding Legislator Award” is handed out biennially to a select group of legislators who have represented county interests in both the legislature and in their districts.
