Retail theft in Fond du Lac suspect captured after high speed chase

A Person wanted for retail theft in the City of Fond du Lac was taken into custody after being chased into Dodge County by a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Friday, September 12, 2025.

At 5:10 PM the deputy spotted the vehicle wanted in the theft southbound on I-41 in the southern portion of the county.

Upon activation of lights and siren, the driver failed to stop and proceeded southbound.

In Dodge County, a Dodge County Sheriff Deputy deployed a tire deflation device which punctured both drivers side tires.

After reaching speeds of 100 mph, the driver finally stopped just north of the Washington County line where they were taken into custody.
