Ripon Police investigating two early morning car thefts

The Ripon Police Department is investigating two stolen vehicles that occurred on Friday, January 2, 2026 between the hours of 5:50am and 8:00am.

The stolen vehicles were taken from the 400 block of Scott Street and the 1100 block of Skyline Road.

One vehicle crashed on Radio Road south of Highway KK. The second vehicle crashed on Willow Rd. just south of Highway 23.

We are asking residents who reside in these areas to check any Ring doorbell cameras or other video footage. If residents see anything of concern, we encourage them to contact the Ripon Police Department.

We also want to remind residents to lock up their vehicles and not to leave belongings inside. At this time, we have not identified any suspects.
