Robert Burns and Sals Pizza again team up to help out the community this Christmas

Community activist Robert Burns is again teaming up with Sals Pizza on Main Street to help spread holiday cheer for those less fortunate this year, however, it will be done a bit differently than previous years.

Robert, his wife Ann, and Sals Pizza in the past handed out meals, including pizza, on Christmas morning to homeless shelters, and opened the restaurant to anyone that wanted to get a warm meal.

This year Robert and his wife are handing out gift bags with essentials like socks, hand warmers, gloves and Chapstick, with Sals still being involved and including a $7 gift certificate to the restaurant, good for anytime in 2026.

Burns, who says he is at the Fond du Lac Public Library at noon each day with food for homeless people of Fond du Lac, and his wife will be out delivering the gift bags Christmas day.
