Second woman found dead in Green Bay rivers in less than a month

For the second time in less than a month, a woman’s body has been pulled from a Green Bay River, deceased.

In the most recent incident a body was discovered at about noon Friday, May 9, 2025 at the mouth of the Fox River, near the 100-block of Bay Beach Road. Police have identified the woman and are determining the circumstances of her death but they don’t believe there’s a danger to the community.

On April 23rd, 26-year-old Arlene Cooper was found deceased in the East River, about a mile from where yesterdays woman was found. Police say they don’t suspect foul play in that death.
