Several Thousand Lose Power Overnight In Oshkosh Due To Crash

About 6000 people in the city of Oshkosh were without power overnight because of a two vehicle crash in the city. Shortly after 2 AM, Saturday, November 11, 2023, the crash was reported in the area of 6th and Knapp. One of the vehicles collided with a power pole and it was reported as snapped off.

Within an hour most of the outage was fixed but according to Wisconsin Public Service’s website, 712 residences were still without power as of 5:30 AM.

One of the drivers of the crash was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
