Six Arrested for Sex Trafficking in Green Lake County

The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office says six people have
been arrested in connection with a sex trafficking case.

According to a news release, law enforcement received a 9-1-1
call on November 28th from a juvenile on the run, who said she had escaped
from a home where she was a victim of sex trafficking. Police say she was able
to provide information that allowed them to begin an investigation.

Officers executed a search warrant at a home on County Line
Road in the Town of Manchester on November 29th. The search resulted
in multiple pieces of evidence believed to be connected to the assault of the girl.
The warrant also led to the arrest of six people, all who lived in the home.

33-year-old Esler Hugo Rivera, 28-year-old Rolando Corado
Gonzalez, 40-year-old Avelino Sarceno-Sarceno, 37-year-old Ember Rivera,
28-year-old Noe Bautista and 31-year-old Evis Amabillo Garcia-Rivera were all
arrested on suspicion of second-degree sexual assault.

Authorities believe all of the suspects are undocumented
immigrants from Guatemala. The release says suspects have all made court appearances,
and are being held at the Green Lake County Correctional Facility on cash bonds
that vary from $20,000 to $50,000.

The incident remains under investigation.
