Snow continues to fall Saturday followed by Artic air next week

The Winter Weather Advisory that was in effect overnight has been extended to 6 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 for Fond du Lac County.

The advisory, which went into effect at 6 PM Friday night, was set to expire at 6 AM Saturday morning, but due to additional snowfall expected today, the advisory was extended.

About 3 1/2 inches of snow fell overnight with another 1-3 expected Saturday.

The NWS says expect slippery conditions on area roadways.

After the snow stops, an artic airmass looks to sweep over the area with well below normal temperatures. Highs for the first half of next week look to not get above the single digits through Wednesday, while lows will fall to negative 5 to negative 13 range Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. Cold weather advisories for wind chills may be needed Sunday night into Monday morning and also Monday night into Tuesday morning However we do look to stay dry through much of next week.
