The Packers aren’t really sure who’ll be on the field Sunday night when they take on the Texans in Houston. Greg Jennings, BJ Raji and Jerimichael Finley will have their status decided on Sunday. It looks like Jennings will miss the game with a groin injury. Backup TE DJ Williams status is also up in the air now as he battles a hamstring injury. Sunday’s game will kickoff at 7:30pm with the pregame set for 5pm on KFIZ.

With the Packers playing on Sunday night, we’ll have NFL action on Sunday afternoon on KFIZ as the Eagles and Lions square off. Coverage begins at 11:30am with the kickoff at Noon.
The Badgers travel to Purdue on Saturday. You’ll hear the game on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ. Coverage begins at 9am with the kickoff set for 11am.
It was another wild day in the Major League Baseball Playoffs on Thursday. Buster Posey’s 5th inning grand slam pushed the Giants to a 6-4 win over the Reds to win the Series 3-2 and advance to the National League Championship Series. The Washington Nationals forced a deciding Game 5 in their series as Jayson Werth launched a walkoff homer in the bottom of the 9th for the 2-1 win over St. Louis.. Game 5 is tonight. In the American League, the Detroit Tigers moved on the to the ALCS with a 6-0 win over Oakland. The Orioles forced a deciding Game 5 in their series tonight with a 2-1 win over the Yankees.
Dale Earnhardt, Junior will miss the next to NASCAR Chase For The Championship races after suffering a concussion in the final big crash at Talladega last weekend. It was his 2nd concussion in six weeks.
Fond du Lac had a doubles team and a singles team at the State Girls Tennis Meet on Thursday. The doubles team of Erin Cole and Emily Nett advanced with a two set win over a team from Madison East. Cole and Nett will play again this morning at 10:30am. In Singles, Fondy’s Nicole Feltz lost to Lindsey Gosse of Sheboygan North 6-4, 6-3. Her season ends at 31-2.
Division One Boys Soccer Regional
Fond du Lac boys soccer team saw their season come to an end on Thursday night, falling to #6 seed Hartford 1-0.. Fondy finishes the season at 14-10-2.
Division Three Boys Soccer Regional
Winnebago Lutheran boys soccer team won the Regional for the 12th straight year with a 3-1 win over St. Lawrence on Thursday night. Jeran Huey, Travis Rieder, and Jacob Schraufnagel scored the WLA goals. The Vikings advance to the Sectional next Thursday, when they travel to #1 ranked Sturgeon Bay. Also in Division Three, Central Wisconsin Christian beat Beaver Day Wayland 6-1. CWC will host Lakeside Lutheran next Thursday in the Sectional.
Cross Country
On Thursday night, the WLA Boys Cross Country team won their first conference championship in school history winning the Flyway Conference meet with a score of 48 points. The Vikings were led by a 2-3 finish by Mitchell and Eric Bilitz. St Mary’s Springs won the girls meet for the 4th straight year.
The High School football season wraps up their regular season tonight across the state. Fond du Lac won’t be going to the playoffs this year, but hopes to finish the regular season at 4-4 as they host Menasha at Fruth Field. Menasha has already clinched a playoff bid as they blew out unbeaten Marshfield last week 42-7. You’ll hear that game on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ. Coverage begins at 5:35pm with the Backyard Grill Kickoff Show. The kickoff is set for 7pm.
In the Flyway Conference, St. Mary’s Springs can complete an unbeaten season with a win at Lomira. You can hear that game on K107.1-FM. Coverage begins at 6:50pm and is presented by the BCI Burke Company. Elsewhere in the Flyway, WLA can earn a playoff spot with a win at Omro tonight. North Fondy travels to Mayville, and Laconia hosts KML.
In the Olympian-Packerland Large, Chilton can clinch the outright conference title with a win at Manitowoc Roncolli. The Tigers have a one game lead over tradition powers Wrightstown and Brillion.
