Super Bowl 47
Baltimore and San Francisco will square off tonight in Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans. You’ll hear it on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ. The kickoff is set for right around 5:30pm tonight.
Packers Robison Heading To Hall of Fame
Another of the Vince Lombardi Packers is going the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Dave Robinson played in three Pro Bowls, had 27 interceptions and was voted to the All-Decade team for the 1960s.
Hall of Fame
Coach Bill Parcells, WR Cris Carter, DL Warren Sapp, DL Curly Culp and OL Jonathan Ogden and OL Larry Allen will also be enshrined at Canton, Ohio next Summer.
NFL Awards
Vikings RB Adrian Peterson was named the NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year on Saturday night. Houston’s JJ Watt was the Defensive Player of the Year. Colts interim coach Bruce Arians was named Coach of the Year. RGIII was the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Carolina’s Luke Kuechly was the Defensive Rookie of the Year. Denver’s Peyton Manning was the Comeback Player of the Year.
Favre and Rodgers
Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers were both at the event and appeared together at the event for the first time since they parted ways in Green Bay.
