Victory Slips Away
Former Bucks Tobias Harris scored 30 points and grabbed 19 rebounds as Orlando beat Milwaukee 113-103 in overtime on Wednesday night. The final 37 seconds saw the Bucks get a five second call inbounding a pass, Monta Ellis miss a free throw and then with the team up three with 1.9 seconds left, Marquis Daniels fouled Harris on a three point attempt, which he made tying the game at 95. Harris missed the free throw sending the game to OT. Ellis finished with 19, Daniels with 14. Brandon Jennings left the game with a sore Achilles. Larry Sanders reinjured his back.
Brewers PPD
The Brewers and Cubs were postponed on Wednesday night because of the wet, cold, rainy weather. No makeup date has been set. The Brewers take today off and open a three game weekend series in St. Louis on Friday night.
Goats Head At Wrigley
There was no baseball at Wrigley Field on Wednesday, but someone delivered a goats head to Cubs owner Tom Ricketts. No note was included in the package which was left outside a stadium gate, but it could allude to the curse placed on the team during the 1945 World Series by a restaurant owner who was asked to leave Wrigley because he brought a goat along to the game.
