Badgers Host Spartans
The Wisconsin Badgers try and bounce back from Saturday night’s loss at Iowa when they host Michigan State tonight at the Kohl Center. Michigan State sits on top of the Big Ten with a 5-1 record. Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana all have 4-1 league mark. The tip tonight is set for 6pm.
Bucks Host Sixers
The Bucks host Philadelphia tonight at the Bradley Center. The Bucks are in 3rd place in the NBA’s Central Division with a 21-18 record. That’s good for 7th in the Eastern Conference playoff standings. The tip is set for 7pm. The Bucks also recalled guard Doron Lamb from Forty Wayne in the NBA D-League
Five Pats Bow Out
After losing to Baltimore in the AFC Championship, five New England Patriots have dropped out of the Pro Bowl, including QB Tom Brady. Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will replace Brady.
Winkler Honored
A Fond du Lac soccer coach was recognized with a national honor this past week at the annual National Soccer Coaches Association convention in Indianapolis. Greg Winkler, head coach of the boys and girls soccer teams at Fond du Lac High School, was named the National Youth Soccer Coach of the Year for 2012. Winkler was a midwest regional award winner and a finalist for the national award in both 2001 and 2004.
