continues as they get beat by the Miami Marlins 6-4 last night at
runs and 9 hits in just 3 and two-thirds innings of work. The loss is
12th in the last 13 games and they drop six games behind
Wild Card spot. The series continues

In the NL Central,
Phillies 6-4, the Cardinals blanked the Reds 5-0. The Cubs get beat by the Blue Jays 8-0.

Packers as they look ahead to the New York Jets in the home opener at Lambeau
Field on Sunday. The kickoff is set for

The Baltimore Ravens have
cut running back Ray Rice and the NFL suspended him indefinitely after TMZ
released video showing Rice knocking his then fiancé unconscious and dragging
her out of an elevator earlier this year.
Rice had been suspended just two games by the league before the video
was released.
The NCAA has restored all 85
scholarships for the Penn State Football Team and they are bowl eligible for
this season. They are also eligible for
the Big Ten Championship Game. The
sanctions had come from the school covering up the Jerry Sandusky scandal.
Marin Cilic wins the Men’s
U.S. Open.
The Marian Men’s Golf Team
was 3rd at the Marian Fall Invite at Whispering Springs. Max Richardson and Ryonen Faris led the
Sabres with 155s. The Marian women were
2nd with Megan Kelly 2nd overall with a score of 187.
The
Mary’s Springs football team moves up to #1 in this week’s Associated Press
High School Football Poll.
