Terrors stop Fondy
Appleton West beat the Fond du Lac boys basketball team 61-47 in the FVA opener on Tuesday night at the Acuity Fieldhouse. The Terrors jumped out to a 21-9 lead after one quarter and never trailed. Max Schebel led Fondy with 17 points. Sophomore Brian Luteyn added 10. Eastern Illinois recruit Jake Verhagen paced the Terrors with 20 points. West is 3-0 on the season while Fondy drops to 1-1. The Cardinals will host Kaukauna on Friday night. You’ll hear it on KFIZ and streaming at kfiz.com.

Jennings Back
Packers WR Greg Jennings is expected to be a full participant at practice today as Green Bay begins preparations for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at Lambeau. Jennings has been out with an abdominal injury. Sunday’s game kicks off at 12noon with pregame set for 10am on KFIZ
Badgers vs. Huskers
The Wisconsin Badgers continue to get ready for their matchup with the Nebraska on Saturday night in the Big Ten Championship Game at Indianapolis. Coverage begins at 5pm and the kickoff is set for 7:15pm on KFIZ

The conference shuffling continues as Tulane was announced as a full-time member of the Big East on Tuesday. The Green Wave will help fill the hole left by Rutgers leaving for the Big 10 in 2014. Louisville is expected to be the next to bolt the Big East for the ACC very soon.

Bucks Home Tonight
The first place Milwaukee Bucks are at home tonight as they host the New York Knicks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. At 7-5 the Bucks lead the Central by 1.5 games over Chicago. The Knicks are 9-4 and are tied with Brooklyn on top of the Atlantic Division. That tip is set for 7pm.
