SSM Health Adult Day Services to host Former Wisconsin Governor Marty Schreiber for dementia caregiving presentation

Former Wisconsin Governor Marty Schreiber will be in Fond du Lac later this month to share his personal experience caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease.

Schreiber will appear Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at SSM Health Adult Day Services on East Merrill Avenue for an event called “Navigating the Dementia Journey with Hope and Understanding.”

The free evening will include tours at 5 p.m., a meet-and-greet with Schreiber at 5:30, followed by his presentation at 6 p.m. A book signing will follow.

Schreiber’s presentation is based on his experience caring for his wife, Elaine, after her Alzheimer’s diagnosis. He’ll offer practical advice and encouragement for caregivers and families dealing with dementia.

The first 20 people who register will receive a free autographed copy of Schreiber’s book, My Two Elaines.

Registration is required by calling SSM Health Adult Day Services at 920-921-5812.
