SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic welcomes new physiatrist

Christopher Ng, MD, a board-certified physiatrist, is now accepting patients at the SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, 421 Camelot Drive, Fond du Lac. He joins Kris Homb, MD, and Jennifer Fryda, APNP, in the practice of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Dr. Ng specializes in sports and musculoskeletal medicine, including non-operative management of all sports and musculoskeletal injuries, as well as regenerative medicine and injections.

He treats adults and children with osteoarthritis; neck pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain, wrist pain, hand pain, hip pain, knee pain, ankle/foot pain; rotator cuff and other shoulder injuries; frozen shoulder; tendonitis; sprains and strains; knee injuries; and foot and ankle injuries.

 “I would describe my approach as holistic and patient centered,” according to Dr. Ng. “I try to treat every patient as I would a family member. It is very gratifying seeing my patients return to their favorite sport, activities or hobby.”

A graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Ng completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a sports medicine fellowship at the Detroit Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

“I chose my specialty because I was an athlete who had injuries and want to help all athletes and individuals get back to doing things they enjoy,” Dr. Ng explains.

Dr. Ng enjoys traveling with some of his favorite places Greece and Japan, as well as sports, including football, baseball, basketball, and hockey.
