Stabbing in Fond du Lac results in one person injured and one in custody

The Fond du Lac Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred Saturday morning in the city.

At about 8:15 AM, Police and the Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue responded to 33 east Johnson Street for the stabbing.

Police were able to take the suspect into custody within minutes and the victim was brought out to a waiting ambulance with what appeared to be a significant arm injury.

KFIZ News Director Doug Raflik also noted that the suspect appeared to have injuries to his hands.

According to a press release from the Fond du Lac Police Department, the 40-year-old victim and 29-year-old suspect were roommates at the location.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital to be treated for his hand injuries he acquired during the incident.
