Stow Street Bridge Closure

The Department of Public Works in partnership with the WI Department of Transportation has contracted with Pheifer Brothers Construction, to replace the Stow Street Bridge between Taft Street and Wettstein Avenue. Stow Street Bridge will be closed to traffic starting Wednesday, June 17 and remain closed through the end of August. The current bridge will be razed and a new bridge constructed.

Bridge replacement projects are some of the most difficult projects, as they greatly limit access to streets. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead for traffic delays, as there will not be a detour. Local traffic will need to utilize other streets to navigate the closure.
