Strong Winds, Heavy Rains Roll Through With Thunderstorms

A round of strong storms moved through Fond du Lac County last night, Thursday, July 27, 2023 around 11:30 PM, and News Director Doug Raflik captured some images of the start of the storm as the winds picked up.

The photos were taken looking northwest from Roosevelt Park on the southeast side of Lake Winnebago.

Small tree branches were blown down, and a couple lightning strikes to property were reported, as was a tree down on Scenic Drive. No warnings were issued at the time.
