Summer events planned for Downtown Fond du Lac

The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership has also announced dates for the 2025 summer event season.

The Downtown Fond du Lac Saturday Farmers Market season, sponsored by SSM Health, will open next Saturday, May 17 and continue through Saturday, October 25. The Market will take place on
Main Street on Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to Noon, with the exception of September 6, 2025 for Fondue Fest.

The Downtown Farmers Market offers a wide variety of vendors selling Wisconsin-grown produce, plants, flowers, baked goods, meats, and cheese. Ready to eat foods, crafts, arts, pottery, and hand-made products are also available.

The Farmers Market is pet-friendly but All pets must be leashed 6 feet or less and under human control at all times.

There will be a slight change in locations this year to accommodate construction on Main Street. The Farmers Market will change locations along Main Street throughout the season.

From May 17 – June 21, the Farmers Market will take place between Western Ave and 1st Street;

from June 28 – August 30, the Farmers Market will take place between 1st Street and Division;

and from September 13 – Oct. 25, 2025, the Farmers Market will return to its usual location between Western Ave and Forest Ave.

Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic in these areas from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Market days.
Overnight parking on Main Street is restricted from May through October.

Also set for downtown this summer will be the 2025 Downtown Fond du Lac Summer Wine Walk, sponsored by National Exchange Bank and Trust. The Wine walk will be held on Friday, June 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

During the Wine Walk, Fond du Lac’s downtown businesses will become “tasting rooms” where attendees can sample different sweet and dry wines, or various non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails. The goal of the wine walk is to get residents to stroll from business to business exploring what downtown has to offer and shop while you sip from your souvenir glass.

The event is limited to 600 people with tickets available now at www.downtownfdl.com.

The Downtown Fond du Lac Night Market, sponsored by Sargento Foods, is returning for the fifth season and will be held on five nights in June through August. The dates are June 26, July 10, July 24, August 7 & August 21.

The Night Market is an open-air street market dedicated to leisurely strolling, shopping, and eating. The Night Market is a unique, inclusive, family-friendly event where attendees can expect to find
prepared foods, local artists and makers, live music, and fresh produce. Kids can enjoy playing with outdoor games that will be available in the Kids Zone, sponsored by Ahern Gross Plumbing and
Hoppers Screen Printing and Embroidery.

The Night Market will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Main Street from Division Street to Forest Avenue, and Sheboygan Street from Main to Portland Street. These areas will be closed to vehicle traffic from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and street parking on these streets will be restricted after 2:00 p.m. on Night Market dates.

The 18th Annual Fondue Fest, sponsored by Fox Valley Savings Bank, will be held on Saturday, September 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Merrill Avenue to Western Avenue beginning at 6:00 a.m.

The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership will host two music stages, a Kids Zone sponsored by SSM Health, and the cheese and chocolate Fondue provided by Moraine Park Technical College Culinary Arts Program.
