Suspect in custody responsible for area bomb threats

Between November 21 and November 24, 2025, the Fond du Lac Police Department received multiple bomb threats directed at locations within the city. FDLPD Detectives immediately initiated an investigation, and through consistent follow-up and evidence analysis, identified a suspect believed to be responsible for the threats. The suspect was soon linked to a possible address in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, and Detectives learned the individual was also connected to similar bomb threats reported in Rhinelander and Tomahawk.

On the morning of November 25, 2025, FDLPD Detectives were notified of an additional threat targeting Kewaskum High School. Working in close coordination with the Kewaskum Police Department, FDLPD Detectives determined the same suspect was a person of interest in that incident as well. Later that afternoon, with the support of multiple partnering agencies, FDLPD Detectives located and safely took the suspect into custody. The individual is currently being held in connection with multiple ongoing investigations involving threats made across several Wisconsin jurisdictions.

This outcome was made possible through strong cooperation and communication between agencies including the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Kewaskum Police Department, Rhinelander Police Department, Tomahawk Police Department, and the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation.

“This case highlights the strength of interagency cooperation and the dedication of law enforcement professionals across the state,” said Lieutenant Nick Hahn of the Fond du Lac Police Department. “Thanks to swift coordination between departments, we were able to identify and apprehend the suspect before additional threats could be carried out. Public safety remains our top priority.”

The Fond du Lac Police Department extends its gratitude to every partner agency involved in securing a safe and timely resolution to this investigation.
